Consider Romans 5:12.  Death, the result of sin, came to all “because” all sinned. Were they born guilty or did they sin and become guilty? Might they have been born with “a fallen nature”, a predisposition to sin, but also with the ability to resist sin. How else could we righteously be held accountable?
